Returns & Refund Policy

At Cooper’s Shop, we use print-on-demand services to create products specifically for each order. This policy explains your rights and our procedures in line with UK consumer law.


1. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives:

  • Damaged
  • Misprinted
  • Defective
  • Incorrect (wrong item received)

👉 We will resolve this through our printing partner (Gelato).

What to do:

  • Contact us at cooper.thegs@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery
  • Include:
    • Your order number
    • Clear photo evidence of the issue

Resolution:

  • We will offer either:
    • A free replacement, or
    • A full refund

You will not be required to return the item in most cases.


2. Returns for Change of Mind (e.g. Wrong Size)

Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, even if you simply change your mind.

Conditions:

  • You must notify us within 14 days of delivery
  • You then have 14 days to return the item

Important:

  • Items must be returned in unused and resellable condition
  • The customer is responsible for return postage costs
  • We recommend using a tracked service, as we are not responsible for lost returns

3. Refunds

Once we receive your returned item:

  • Your refund will be processed within 14 days, in accordance with UK law
  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
  • Original shipping costs will be refunded only where required by law

4. Exceptions

Returns may not be accepted for:

  • Items that have been used or damaged after delivery
  • Items not returned in their original condition

If a product is clearly customised or personalised, different rules may apply in line with UK regulations.

This policy is designed to comply with UK consumer protection laws while ensuring a fair process for both customers and our business.


To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at cooper.thegs@gmail.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the provided address.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items).

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 14 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
